*Last one (from me)* Does your dash have a clock with hands? Well it needs to! Look, what do rich people have? Hands!! In fact they need so many that they pay for more! It’s as if they hire hands in many cases. Do you know what the Better-Off do with these hired hands? They TELL them what to do! What do you do with a clock? You TELL the time!! You dont suggest it, you ponder it, and you most certainly do not request it. You TELL IT!! Analog clocks show that you have the time to tell the time. Analog clocks represent a COMMAND over time. Damn. Makes me wish I could have kept my grandfather’s 86 Crown Vic. I thought it was so cool when I was a kid that it had an analog clock.

I think along with save the manuals, there should be save the analog dash clocks.

More cars need them, so they evntually end up in self service junkyards so I can pull them and then put them on my desk, I'd say this clock might not last another 30 years, but it is out of a W123

I also made the lamp, s62 cam from an m5. Didn’t pull that though, eBay. I did make a lamp with a cam out of an m50 from an e34. Pulled that one myself. Sadly I don’t have a photo of it on my phone though.

I too have a dashboard clock on my home desk, although it doesn’t work very well. Mine is roughly 75 years old. Plus, due to the many markings on the dial lavishly rendered in radium paint, it’s lavishly irradiating everything else on my desk.

I’m not going to say what it’s out of just yet...I’ll post a picture later and see if people can guess.
